Director of Clinical Education (RN)

Assess department needs for training and respond accordingly by orienting new staff members and providing ongoing education. Schedule comprehensive training programs and in-services, while lecturing on procedures and observing practical application to ensure compliance with online education systems. Develop recruitment strategies, assist with open position selections, and maintain documentation for all orientation and in-service activities. Coordinate services within the department regarding scheduling and budget, communicate with administrators on resource needs, and monitor safe working practices with the Safety Committee. Educate staff on new procedures, assist in developing protocols via job analysis, and support the Continuous Quality Improvement Program while ensuring electronic medical records orientation.
