Job Summary
Develop and maintain clinical affiliate partnerships by identifying new healthcare sites, strengthening existing relationships, and evaluating affiliation agreements. Serve as the primary academic liaison to oversee site relationships, faculty evaluations, and student clinical experiences while ensuring alignment with curriculum and regulatory requirements. Recruit, orient, mentor, and evaluate clinical faculty through regular site visits focused on performance, safety, and compliance. Monitor student progress, coordinate remediation, and lead continuous quality improvement efforts to uphold accreditation standards. Manage multiple priorities including documentation, faculty coaching, and program oversight within a flexible schedule requiring occasional evening or weekend travel.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
- At least three years of formal nursing education experience, including clinical instruction in Higher education or healthcare setting
- Demonstrated clinical leadership experience
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
- Ability to regularly travel to clinical sites and work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed
