Job Summary
Director of Clinic Operations leads the Village Health Center's administrative functions to support integrated care for individuals experiencing homelessness. Oversees clinic operations, revenue cycle performance, compliance, operational systems, and administrative services to ensure efficient, financially sustainable, and high-quality healthcare delivery. Drives process improvement, data-driven decision making, and coordination with clinical leadership; manages budgets and performance metrics; ensures regulatory compliance (FQHC, HRSA, Medicare/Medi-Cal, HIPAA); develops and leads management staff; builds partnerships with community partners, vendors, funders, and regulators to advance mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Services Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare administration, clinic operations, practice management, revenue cycle management, or related healthcare field
- Minimum five (5) years of management experience with responsibility for staff leadership, operational oversight, and budget administration
- Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), community health center, integrated healthcare organization, or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Professional certification in healthcare administration, healthcare finance, practice management, project management, or executive leadership preferred
