Job Summary
Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of the Injury Management claims department, supervising supervisors, claim representatives, and nurse case managers. Provide technical guidance on complex, catastrophic, litigated, and high-exposure claims while monitoring investigations, compensability determinations, reserving practices, and settlement strategies. Establish performance standards, workflows, and quality assurance programs through regular file reviews and operational audits. Ensure compliance with workers' compensation statutes and coordinate regulatory examinations. Requires ten years of workers' compensation experience with three to five years in management. Based in Woburn, MA, this role supports Cabot Risk Strategies' full-service brokerage and consulting firm.
