Job Summary
Director of Civil Engineering in Dallas leading the land development division with a strategic, leadership-focused mandate. Responsibilities include steering planning, design, and execution of complex land development projects; overseeing the full project lifecycle from feasibility to construction administration; mentoring engineers and EITs; providing technical authority in construction documentation and BIM integration; acting as the primary technical liaison with stakeholders and clients; and implementing rigorous quality governance to ensure regulatory compliance. Requires a Civil Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) and an active PE license with 8+ years of progressive civil land development experience; proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Revit. Hybrid work model with in-office and remote days; strong leadership, budgeting, and client-management capabilities are emphasized, along with deep knowledge of North Texas municipal codes and permitting processes.
Required Qualifications
