Job Summary
Lead strategic vision and day-to-day execution of career readiness, professional development programs, and employer relations across INI graduate programs. Manage all phases of Career Services activities, including guiding students on career planning, recruiting and training student Peer Career Consultants, and crafting comprehensive strategies for internship and job search preparation. Build strong relationships with industry contacts, alumni, and faculty while partnering with the CMU-Silicon Valley team to ensure consistent bicoastal support. Identify student needs to develop workshops, online content, and events, and represent the INI at job fairs and conferences. This role requires occasional domestic and potential international travel, with a hybrid schedule based in Pittsburgh.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e. College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, Counseling, Engineering, Human Resources) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a career counseling role
Desired Qualifications
- A master's degree in a related field
- Previous experience working in an engineering, recruiting or higher education career services leadership role
- Experience working with graduate and international students in a student services environment
