Job Summary
Coordinate and schedule resident care activities in compliance with applicable legislation to ensure optimal health and welfare. Respond to resident or family member concerns, investigate complaints, and complete required follow-up actions. Account for the highest standard of resident care by developing and maintaining appropriate care plans, supervising nursing staff, and managing staffing patterns, policies, and procedures. Report complaints and concerns to the MLTC director as required. Conduct the Annual Care Conference Program.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant management experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Long Term Care
- Current certificate of competence with the provincial College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Post secondary education in nursing, nursing administration and gerontology
- Diploma or certificate in organizational management
