Plan, develop, and evaluate overall quality of resident care by the nursing department. Establish job routines, performance evaluations, and hiring criteria for nursing staff. Manage the nursing services budget, ensure regulatory compliance, and update care plans for all residents. Oversee medication administration, infection control, and falls prevention programs. Complete QA audits, participate in residence committees, and coordinate orientation and training programs. Inform families and physicians of resident condition changes.
