Job Summary
Lead student wellbeing, behaviour, and Christian character across the Senior School (Years 10-12) by supporting Care & Conduct Leaders with clear guidance, partnership, and timely follow-up. Collaborate with the Head of Senior School and college leaders to provide strategic and operational leadership that aligns with the institution's mission, vision, and priorities, deputising as needed. Manage behavioural and wellbeing matters through a collaborative teaching team while maintaining an active Christian faith and delivering quality customer service to parents and the community. Start January 1, 2027, in a permanent, full-time role with a teaching load.
Required Qualifications
- QCT Registration (or eligibility)
- demonstrated Teaching experience
- Ability to lead Middle School students and teaching staff
- Knowledge of contemporary pedagogical practices and assessment strategies appropriate to secondary schooling
- Familiarity with the QCAA syllabuses
- experience in curriculum development (in line with the Australian National Curriculum)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work proactively within a collaborative teaching team
- An active Christian faith
- commitment to the aims of an Independent Christian School
- quality customer service skills when interacting with parents and the wider community
- the ability to develop, write and edit quality reports
