Job Summary
Directs the cardiovascular service line at the assigned location, overseeing operational management, personnel management, financial management, and quality improvement initiatives. Leads policies/procedures development, organizational structure planning, hires and discipline actions, performance appraisals, staff training and competency alignment with Patient Care Services standards. Develops short- and long-range goals, monitors goal attainment, and manages the budget. Requires a BS in a related field (Master’s preferred) and extensive cardiovascular leadership experience in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Five or more years of progressively more responsible leadership experience in a hospital setting.
- Two years of cardiovascular leadership experience is preferred.
