Director of Capital Design and Construction

Direct and oversee capital design and construction programs for mass transit services, including design, construction, commissioning, and quality control of capital and State of Good Repair projects. Develop and manage strategic programs aligned with constructing mass transit, coordinate with permitting, planning, and funding agencies, and build networks with stakeholders to secure information, resources, and funding. Allocate resources across multiple capital construction projects, collaborate with the Chief Capital Services Officer and executives to create new ridership and revenue opportunities, and maintain a positive corporate image through successful project delivery. Requires extensive leadership of major capital rail and bus projects, with experience in civil/transportation engineering or related fields and strong negotiation and communication skills.
