Job Summary
Oversee the Campus Counseling Services office, providing leadership for policy development, budgeting, staff supervision, and service delivery. Responsibilities include supervising counseling staff and interns, ensuring FERPA/HIPAA compliance, delivering individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, case management, and treatment planning; coordinating student transitions to off-campus resources; developing partnerships with Academic Affairs and community providers for internships/practicum opportunities; creating outreach programs, workshops, and trainings; maintaining comprehensive case notes and program evaluation data; and maintaining visibility on campus to support student well-being and emergency response. Requires a Master’s degree in counseling or clinical psychology and at least five years of supervisory/administrative experience; KS Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in counseling or clinical psychology
- A minimum of 5 years related supervisory and administrative experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse student populations
