Job Summary
Lead enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, drive growth, and maximize technology investment value. Serve as the primary internal owner of the ERP migration from QuickBooks Desktop, managing scope, timeline, and accountability while partnering with external consultants, vendors, and the Controller to ensure system alignment. Lead a full review of the technology stack to eliminate redundancy, build integrations across Salesforce, Point of Rental, Stampli, Paylocity, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint, and establish software governance. Work directly with managers and frontline teams to map workflows, surface inefficiencies, co-design better processes, and drive AI adoption. Own the digital transformation roadmap across Marketing, Service, Distribution, Rental, Accounting, and Shared Services, coordinating internal project leads, surfacing risks, and maintaining executive reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience leading or co-leading an ERP migration or equivalent business system transformation inside a company, not just as a consultant
- Exposure to and general understanding of business operations in a service, rental, or field-based environment, including how work flows from quote to invoice
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting concepts and how operational data connects to business performance
- Proven ability to build trust with employees at multiple levels and lead organizational change
- Experience managing external vendors and consultants while holding them accountable for outcomes
- Practical knowledge of AI tools and the ability to identify and deploy business applications
- A builder mentality, creating lasting processes, documentation, and systems
- Comfortable working with executive leadership as well as frontline employees
Desired Qualifications
- Salesforce experience in a service or sales operations environment
- Familiarity with Point of Rental or comparable rental management platforms
- Exposure to ERP platforms
- Background in the energy, power generation, equipment rental, or industrial services industry
- Experience working in a privately held, founder-led company where trust had to be earned before authority
