Job Summary
Oversee and support the overall operation of the Business Office, supervising District Accountant 1 and the Payroll Supervisor. Manage the school budget and personnel while implementing policy and procedures. Interpret data to drive decisions in advanced school finance, budgeting, and accounting systems. Resolve conflict and respond to concerns using strong communication and public relations skills. Lead with demonstrated leadership abilities to support the 226-day employment term.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or other related field
- 3 year's accounting experience
- experience in public schools
- at least one year in a supervisory position
- Advanced knowledge of school finance
- Advanced knowledge of budgeting
- Advanced knowledge of accounting systems
- Advanced knowledge of economics
- Knowledge of information/data processing systems
- Knowledge of financial applications
