Director of Business Development – West oversees business development initiatives across the Western United States and select regions of Canada through existing distributor partnerships. Responsibilities include partnering with distributor leadership and field sales teams to drive growth, support salon expansion, analyze regional performance, build strong distributor and salon partnerships, collaborate with internal teams on launches and promotions, travel 50%+ to key distributor meetings, events, and salon visits, and represent the brand at industry engagements. Key skills include strategic partnership development, account management, sales leadership, regional planning, and excellent communication and presentation abilities within the professional beauty industry.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, account management, or field leadership within the professional beauty industry
  • Strong understanding of the professional salon distribution landscape
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working closely with distributor sales teams and salon partners
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory

  • Travel approximately 50% or more
