Job Summary
Lead, coach, and support a team of Business Developers across Edmonton through regular ride-alongs and in-field sales coaching. Build strong relationships with customers and business partners while working alongside the team to identify opportunities and grow existing accounts. Develop regional sales strategies, recruit, onboard, and mentor new Business Developers, and monitor sales activity, forecasts, and CRM performance to drive territory growth and achieve company goals. This hands-on leadership role involves direct management of quota-carrying outside B2B sales representatives within the automotive maintenance industry, supporting the transition as the current Director prepares for retirement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience managing quota-carrying outside B2B sales representatives
- Experience conducting regular ride-alongs and coaching sales representatives in the field
- Experience leading geographically dispersed sales teams
- Strong business development, relationship management and territory planning skills
- Experience recruiting, mentoring and developing sales professionals
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
- CRM experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid passport with the ability to travel to the United States
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
