Job Summary
Lead profitability across all Test Services locations and drive generation of new business. Collaborate with the VP of Sales and VP of Marketing to develop and implement programs to increase short-, mid-, and long-term sales; educate customers on Test Services benefits; propose and lead pricing updates based on cost/profitability and competitive analyses; coach and mentor staff and managers; oversee recruitment, performance reviews, and growth opportunities; coordinate team-building and internal engagement initiatives; manage capital budgeting/submittals; coordinate with home office on R&D evaluation and sales of related products; travel 25-40% to support multiple sites. Requires an advanced technical degree and demonstrated success in sales/marketing within a related lab/testing domain, with broad coatings/materials testing experience and strong leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Materials Science
- Demonstrated years of sales and marketing experience/successes, especially in uncovering and developing new business opportunities
- Proven ability in staff coaching, mentoring, and inspiring/motivating teams
- Experience in diffusing customer and staff issues and complaints
- Must be willing and able to travel 25-40%
