Job Summary
Director of Business Development for Q-Lab Corporation, focused on overall profitability across Test Services locations with an emphasis on generating new business. Leads and mentors the Test Services team, collaborates with VP of Sales/Marketing on programs to drive sales, educates customers on benefits of Test Services, drives pricing updates based on cost/profitability, and oversees recruitment, staff development, and engagement initiatives. Requires advanced technical background (engineering/science) and proven sales/marketing track record, with travel 25-40%. Position is fully onsite at one of three US locations (Homestead, FL; Wittmann, AZ; or Cleveland, OH) with relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Materials Science
- Demonstrated years of sales and marketing experience/successes, especially in uncovering and developing new business opportunities
- Proven ability in staff coaching, mentoring, and inspiring/motivating teams
- Experience in diffusing customer and staff issues and complaints
- Willingness and ability to travel 25-40%
