Job Summary

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share within the Pharmacovigilance Safety Systems sector in Japan. Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and progress updates for senior management while building and mentoring a high-performing sales team. Direct cross-selling and joint marketing initiatives to maximize exposure and profitability, staying abreast of industry trends and regulations to enhance the company's competitive position. Submit a resume and cover letter outlining relevant experience in the pharmacovigilance sector.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Business Development within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Specifically in Pharmacovilance Safety Systems or related software solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets and driving revenue growth
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical safety systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Existing networks and relationships within the pharmaceutical industry in Japan
  • Experience working with a diverse portfolio of pharmacovilance software solutions

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
