Job Summary

Director of Business Development responsible for identifying and capitalizing on high-value opportunities with Fortune 1000 clientele. Lead relationship-building, understand client critical business strategies, and collaborate with a team of SMEs to design and execute tailored solutions that align with customer objectives. Drive new business development and revenue growth through strategic planning, prospecting, and leveraging a broad range of sales cycles. Hybrid role with on-site presence required when not in the field; strong emphasis on leverage-based compensation and performance bonuses.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently located within the specified market due to the hybrid nature of the role
  • Office presence is required when not in the field
  • Minimum of seven years of direct B2B sales experience, specifically calling on Fortune 1000 companies
  • Limited job changes, with no more than 3-4 jobs in the past 10 years
  • Proven track record of new business development, particularly in selling marketing solutions or professional business services
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and growing revenue in large accounts
  • Experience in large volume sales, with individual sales valued at $250k or more
  • Familiarity with a broad range of sales cycles, ranging from three to six to twelve months
  • Compensation is derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses
  • A four-year college degree is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with web, SaaS, and mobile applications is a plus
