Job Summary
Director of Business Development to identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the manufacturing industry; lead sales and marketing efforts, oversee proposals and bids, negotiate contracts, conduct market analysis, build relationships with customers and partners, mentor a sales/marketing team, and travel up to 50%. Requires US citizenship or permanent residency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of success in closing deals and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of government contracting and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
