Job Summary
Director of Business Development for BrainCheck—lead strategic growth in healthcare services and cognitive health solutions through relationship-driven account development. Manage a territory and portfolio of strategic accounts, build executive relationships with physicians, CMOs, population health leaders, and health-system executives, identify and close opportunities within physician groups, health systems, and ACOs, expand existing customer relationships to additional locations and populations, and present the clinical, operational, and financial value of BrainCheck offerings. Lead discussions on cognitive care strategy, workflow design, reimbursement, staffing, implementation, and value-based care performance; develop business cases and implementation plans; coordinate with clinical, implementation, customer success, operations, and leadership teams to ensure successful launches and long-term customer success. Maintain CRM records, forecast, and sales reporting; participate in customer meetings, conferences, and industry events; role may involve offering BrainCheck as a software-only solution for organizations preferring internal staffing resources. Typical week emphasizes relationship-building with executive stakeholders, account planning, referrals/conferences, and cross-functional collaboration; travel to customer sites for executive meetings, implementation discussions, and strategic account reviews; most selling conducted via video, phone, and email with periodic key interactions. Required to possess a strong network within healthcare and demonstrate a track record of quota attainment, with a focus on six-figure enterprise contracts and complex sales cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of healthcare sales, business development, or strategic account management experience
- Minimum 3 years selling into primary care practices, physician groups, ACOs, MSOs, IPAs, or health systems serving Medicare populations
- Recent experience as a quota-carrying individual contributor
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Existing network of relationships within primary care, physician groups, ACOs, MSOs, IPAs, health systems, or value-based care organizations
- Experience selling healthcare services, population health solutions, care management programs, behavioral health solutions, value-based care programs, clinical services, or related offerings
- Strong understanding of Medicare reimbursement, value-based care, ACOs, population health initiatives, and physician practice operations
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving physicians, administrators, operational leaders, and executive leadership
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and account development skills
- Experience selling six-figure annual contracts and managing enterprise sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain, and expand executive-level customer relationships
- Based in Austin or willing to relocate
