Director of Business Development

Director of Business Development who will serve as Marketing/Community Education Liaison to facilitate patient admissions to Hospice via marketing and education activities with contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, respite centers, physicians, and other community resources. Generate business by cultivating relationships with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, nursing facilities, and other referral sources; prepare and conduct calls and in-service presentations to referral sources; participate in community and organizational programs to broaden understanding of Hospice and Anchor Health services; promote privacy, dignity, and well-being of patients; support public relations with patients, families, and providers; and contribute to mission and vision of the organization, particularly in applying hospice philosophy to referral activities. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, healthcare marketing experience (preferably hospice), strong communication skills, self-motivation, organized territory management, team collaboration, and the ability to meet monthly goals.
