Job Summary

Director of Business Development overseeing commercial strategy and CRM for AMPORTS in the Americas, focusing on customer goals, service portfolio development, and portside business development across the United States and Mexico. Responsibilities include directing the company’s commercial strategy, revenue and volume growth, customer diversification, pricing models, and proposals; coordinating with local management, maintaining CRM records, supporting KPI improvements, mentoring future leaders, developing a uniform service portfolio, and building long-term client relationships. Requires strong communication, analytical skills, ability to present to stakeholders, and travel with a preference for candidates able to work from Jacksonville HQ with remote consideration outside Northeast Florida.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • 5 years of experience in sales & marketing to include strategic planning / management and client relationship experience
  • Advanced computer proficiency in business-based software applications
  • Possessing knowledge and proficiency in latest sales techniques, marketing tools, and industry trends
  • Willingness to further sharpen skills through continuing education and training
