Job Summary
Oversees and manages administrative and ancillary facility services including the business office, dietary, housekeeping, and maintenance operations; oversees the patient admitting process; works to eliminate barriers to patient admission; maintains complete actuarial records of patient services; ensures compliance with Joint Commission guidelines relating to admissions, facility administration, and ancillary support services; manages facility financial activities including accounts receivable and budgeting; participates in annual budgeting and budgets with facility management to meet operational needs; supervises support services staff and provides routine performance feedback and mentoring; engages in facility performance improvement activities; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams on patient financial issues impacting revenue and budget goals; ensures adherence to Valley Hope operating policies and standards; participates in public relations and marketing activities with emphasis on patient referrals and alumni activities; maintains knowledge of trends in substance abuse treatment and regulatory requirements; demonstrates strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills; able to travel ~10-15%; proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
- Three (3) plus years of work experience in business office management
- Three (3) plus years of supervisory or management experience
- Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Food Service Manager certification; or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
