Job Summary
Lead and supervise district maintenance and custodial staff while developing preventive maintenance programs for schools, athletic facilities, and the vehicle fleet. Plan and oversee construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects, administering the annual budget and managing vendor contracts. Ensure compliance with OSHA, AHERA, EPA, ADA, and fire safety regulations, responding to emergencies and leading preparedness efforts. Collaborate with administrators to promote energy efficiency and long-range facilities planning. Required Qualifications
- Experience leading and supervising district maintenance and custodial staff
- Experience developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs
- Experience managing district facilities, grounds, athletic facilities, and vehicle fleet
- Experience planning and overseeing construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects
- Experience developing and administering the annual Buildings and Grounds budget
- Experience managing purchasing, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Knowledge of OSHA/VOSHA, AHERA, EPA, ADA, fire and life safety requirements, indoor air quality, water quality, and other applicable regulations
- Experience collaborating with school administrators
- Experience responding to facility emergencies and leading emergency preparedness efforts
- Experience promoting energy efficiency, sustainability, and long-range facilities planning
