Job Summary
Director-level role leading building envelope project engineering for multifamily rehabilitation; responsibilities include performing envelope/structural evaluations, developing repair drawings and specifications, field investigations, field testing, QA/QC, client meetings, business development, and supervisory duties; requires PE/RA, building envelope certifications like IIBEC/ICC, OSHA-10, US driver's license; 10+ years experience; Bachelor's in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; strong writing, knowledge of IBC/IRC, AutoCAD; travel to client sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
- 10+ years of experience in engineering consulting/building envelope/structural engineering
- Building envelope certifications (IIBEC: RRO, RRC, RWC) or ICC certifications are a plus
- OSHA-10 preferred
- Valid United States Driver’s License
