Job Summary
Lead occupancy growth and census initiatives through community outreach, resident tours, and relationship management with prospective families. Oversee resident relations, admissions, service coordination, and billing while ensuring compliance with Minnesota assisted living regulations and housing laws. Manage building operations in partnership with maintenance, nursing, housekeeping, and culinary teams to maintain a safe, resident-centered environment. Monitor financial performance, administer annual budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities to achieve organizational goals. Supervise office staff, head chef, and case managers while fostering a culture of quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience within the continuum of long-term services and supports, including one (1) year in a supervisory or management role
- Associate degree plus one (1) year of experience within the continuum of long-term services and supports, including six (6) months in a supervisory or management role
- Bachelor's Degree or higher plus six (6) months of supervisory or management experience within the continuum of long-term services and supports
- Assisted Living Director License preferred at time of hire
- Must obtain Assisted Living Director Licensure within one year of employment if not currently licensed
- Two to five years of management or leadership experience
- Demonstrated success in relationship management and customer service
- Knowledge of Minnesota housing regulations, home care requirements, and landlord-tenant laws
- Experience working with older adults and senior living communities
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and operational performance
- Strong leadership and team development skills
