Job Summary
Develop and execute short-term and long-range benefits plans aligned with corporate goals and strategic growth. Evaluate program results, analyze trends in employee needs, and assist in developing competitive services to meet company objectives. Complete monthly reviews and audits of medical, dental, vision, and voluntary invoices while administering COBRA, Qualified Medical Child Support Orders, and all 401K contributions, loans, and death claims. Track FMLA and LOA benefit continuations, assist outside auditors in annual 401K audits and non-discrimination testing, and prepare census reports for brokers. Handle benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure equitable resolution while complying with all internal controls and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Five years human resources benefits experience
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or closely related field
- One-year experience of Benefits experience
- Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if required
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
- Fluency in English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Desired Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
