Job Summary
Manage and upkeep the salon-spa by performing all scheduled services, controlling inventory, and maintaining cleanliness per the Salon-Spa Standards and Practices manual. Monitor residents for concerns affecting services and communicate with nursing or management staff while ensuring associate and resident safety. Restock shelves daily, adhere to state cosmetology rules, and disclose any impairing medications. Maintain a safe, alert manner and exercise good judgment in a professional environment. Requires a state cosmetologist license, high school education, and 2-4 years of salon experience.
Required Qualifications

- high school or GED education
- Ability to work independently and manage appointment schedules effectively
- Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures
- 2-4 years' experience performing essential salon and spa services
- knowledge of how chemicals used in hair care affect senior citizens health
- Ability to perform independently and exercise good judgement
- Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
