Job Summary
Senior Director-level asset management leadership responsible for maximizing asset value across a growing renewable energy portfolio. Define and implement asset management strategy from construction handover through operations, optimisation, refinancing and exit; drive performance improvements and long-term portfolio growth. Key duties include leading annual business planning and long-term financial forecasting, optimizing revenue through PPAs and merchant exposure, overseeing O&M contracts and asset P&L, managing technical providers, ensuring HSE/regulatory compliance, engaging investors and lenders, supporting M&A and due diligence, and building a high-performing cross-functional team. Requires extensive experience in renewable energy asset management, strong commercial and financial acumen, and senior leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or power asset management
- Proven track record managing operational renewable portfolios (IPP, developer, fund or utility background)
- Strong commercial understanding of UK power markets and revenue structures
- Experience managing PPAs, O&M contracts and operational performance optimisation
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and cross functional stakeholders
- Strong financial and analytical capability with exposure to investment or financing processes
- Degree in engineering, finance, economics or related discipline (advanced degree desirable)
