Job Summary
Director of Architecture overseeing multiple architecture and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide architecture objectives. Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus, provides leadership and high-level direction to teams across platforms/divisions, and serves as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus. Leads cross-product collaborations, champions diversity and inclusion, and focuses on adoption and implementation of technical methods to keep the firm at the forefront of industry trends. Responsibilities emphasize enterprise/Solution architecture, cloud technologies, and leveraging ServiceNow capabilities, with emphasis on cross-functional coordination, governance, and delivery of complex technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise / Solution architecture in development and/or infrastructure organizations
- ServiceNow advanced certifications (CTA, CMA, etc.)
- Java, Database, Data Warehouse experience
- Ability to think big and challenge conventional wisdom regarding technology refresh and hype
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus among many stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity and willing to take principled bets on new technology
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies, services and solutions
- Experience working within a large global organization
- Experience in managing delivery of complex technology solutions
- Experience working at code level
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Experience of working in a matrix management model, utilizing virtual teams
- Excellent communicator at all levels of the organization
- Ability to forge strong relationships and build a wide network throughout the firm
