Director of Annual Giving

Job Summary
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving program to secure unrestricted and restricted current-use gifts through direct-mail, peer-to-peer, phone, and electronic solicitations from alumni, friends, and parents. Draft solicitations from leadership and volunteers, recruit and supervise student callers for the phonathon, and collaborate with Marketing, Communications, and Philanthropy teams on datasets and key messages. Manage alumni and donor data in Raiser's Edge NXT, pulling performance reports on donor acquisition and retention. Coordinate personal solicitations to Trustees and major giving prospects with the Vice President and Associate Vice President. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three to five years of experience in annual giving or direct marketing in a non-profit setting, familiarity with Raiser's Edge NXT, and superlative writing skills. Normal office environment with remote work options; some weekend and evening work is required.
Required Qualifications

- Three to five years of experience in annual giving or direct marketing in a non-profit setting
- Familiarity with a fundraising or direct marketing database
