Job Summary
Director of Annual Giving, Communications & Events leads the development and execution of Mount Marty University's annual giving strategy, donor communications, and advancement events to drive donor participation and engagement. Responsibilities include leading annual giving initiatives (Fall Appeal, Giving Day, End-of-Year Giving), managing donor communications (messaging, segmentation, digital/multi-channel outreach), coordinating an annual giving calendar, overseeing partnerships with service providers, planning events (Golf Classic, President's Society Lunch, Alumni and Friends Event), coordinating Alumni Council engagement, ensuring events and communications support fundraising strategy, evaluating performance with data to inform strategy, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) and experience in annual giving, communications, events, or related field, with strong organizational, project management, and communication skills. Exempt, full-time role located in Yankton, SD.
