Director of AI Enablement

Job Summary
Director of AI Enablement to define the AI technology landscape, establish governance and guardrails, and enable teams to adopt AI safely and at scale. Responsibilities include educating the business, building AI literacy programs, identifying high-value use cases, establishing intake and prioritisation models, overseeing deployment of enterprise AI tools (including agentic AI), evaluating AI vendors and technology, managing AI cost structures and forecasting, tracking value realisation and ROI, and leading a 3–5 person team. The role requires bridging business and technology, strong stakeholder management, governance collaboration with the CISO and EA Lead, and executive-level communication to update the EVP/CTO and Board. Fluency in English, strong influencing and leadership capabilities, and a strategic, outcome-driven mindset are essential.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in a business or technology-related field
- Strong experience in digital transformation and enterprise-level change
- Hands-on understanding of AI technologies and the vendor ecosystem
- Proven stakeholder management and governance experience
- Strong business acumen, including cost modelling and value tracking
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong influencing skills and experience as a manager with informal leadership that builds followership
- High learning agility and curiosity for emerging technologies
- An outcome-driven mindset with the ability to prioritise and make decisions
