Job Summary

Director of Advocacy, Education & Volunteer Services leads the Center Advocacy Network (CAN) across victim services, volunteer engagement, education initiatives, and guest services. Oversees CAN strategy, training, pipeline development from CAN graduates to active advocacy roles, and the integration of trauma-informed, culturally responsive services. Manages education platform expansion, partnerships with community organizations, standardized volunteer onboarding/training/scheduling, and frontline guest services. Builds partnerships, manages grants and reporting, ensures data-driven program evaluation, and upholds high standards of care. Requires senior leadership experience in nonprofit programs, ability to supervise multiple program areas, grant management, and crisis-response capabilities. Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred; willingness to work evenings/weekends and pass background/drug checks.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit program management or a related field
  • Experience in victim services, crisis response, advocacy, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience supervising staff and managing multiple program areas
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets
  • Experience with grant writing, grant management, and reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and best practices in advocacy and victim services
  • Strong organizational and operational leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program data systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to respond to crisis situations in a calm, professional, and supportive manner
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background check
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Work, Public Administration, Non-Profit Management, Human Services, or a related field. Masters preferred
  • Starting pay: $75,000
