Job Summary
Director of Advancement leads a comprehensive fundraising strategy across major gifts, annual giving, corporate partnerships, foundations, federal grants, and event funding; owns the donor lifecycle from qualification through stewardship, manages a personal portfolio of high-capacity donors ($25K+), secures multi-year gifts, leads strategy for corporate and institutional giving, oversees foundation and federal grant strategy, drives revenue growth, and leads a development team with coaching, mentorship, and performance management. Partners with the CAO to forecast revenue, aligns with engagement for donor conversion, coordinates with board members and leadership, and guides events to maximize sponsorship and net revenue while expanding donor retention and lifetime value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- Minimum of six years related fundraising experience
- Minimum of two years supervision/leadership experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency with Raisers Edge database
