Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of Day Habilitation and Vocational Services, ensuring person-centered support and compliance with OPWDD regulations. Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise staff including Program Assistants, Vocational Coordinators, and Direct Support Professionals. Develop program schedules aligned with individual goals, review Life Plans, and conduct regular evaluations to enhance service quality. Serve as the primary contact for families and guardians while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Monitor documentation, attendance, staffing, and billing for accurate operations. This role provides programmatic and administrative oversight to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in participating fully in Jewish life and society.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of management or program leadership experience
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and staff development skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team player with a collaborative, flexible, and solution-focused approach
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Full-time employment
- In-person work (5 days a week on-site)
