Job Summary
Director of Admissions responsible for coordinating admissions to the facility, generating referrals from hospitals/doctors/healthcare professionals, giving facility tours, processing referrals and paperwork, ensuring bed availability, and liaising between hospitals, doctors, center, and field staff to facilitate smooth admissions. Strong emphasis on relationship-building with referral sources, excellent communication and organizational skills, and marketing support (creating materials such as press releases, brochures, and advertisements) to promote services. Keeps up-to-date with Medicare/Medicaid regulations and reimbursement policies and expedites admissions for emergency cases while ensuring compliance. Should be team-oriented, highly organized, and capable of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive admissions and market the facility’s services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of admissions experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Ability to cultivate working relationships inside and outside the facility
- Demonstrated selling, entrepreneurship, and organizational skills
- Marketing experience is a plus
- Proof of COVID Vaccination is required
