Job Summary
Director of Admissions responsible for managing the admissions process from inquiry to move-in, serving as primary contact for residents and families, coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to support admissions, communicating with physicians/hospitals/referral sources, reviewing clinical information to determine admission eligibility, maintaining accurate admissions records, monitoring occupancy goals, and ensuring a welcoming experience for new residents. Requires experience in healthcare admissions or marketing, long-term care familiarity, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and third-party billing, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare admissions or marketing experience
- Long-term care experience required
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical evaluations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
