Job Summary
Director of Admissions role at Carolina Rehab Center of Burke in Connelly Springs, NC, overseeing the Admissions Department and Admissions Coordinator, driving monthly admissions goals, and developing a marketing plan to support census growth. Responsibilities include leading admissions operations, ensuring timely review of patient records for accuracy, coordinating admissions paperwork, and conducting sales calls with targeted referral sources. Requires outside sales experience (healthcare preferred), strong communication and organizational skills, public speaking, and knowledge of nursing/medical practices and regulatory guidelines (Medicare/Medicaid preferred). Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of proven and documented outside sales experience; preferably in the healthcare industry
- Four-year college degree preferred
- Active listening skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures; Medicare/Medicaid preferred
- Strong supervisory experience with Admissions Department and Admissions Coordinator
- Ability to meet weekly and monthly admissions goals
- Experience in marketing and development of referral sources
- Ability to conduct effective sales calls with designated targeted referral sources
