Job Summary
Director of Administrative and Academic Operations responsible for ensuring school-wide operational effectiveness in compliance, HR support, academic systems, and hospitality. Key duties include overseeing background checks and onboarding, coordinating faculty evaluation, managing school calendars and events, supervising substitute teacher processes, and supporting budgeting and administrative policy updates. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Education Administration (Master’s preferred) and 5+ years of administrative leadership experience in education or nonprofit settings; must demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and familiarity with Paycom/Front Line/Blackbaud systems. The role reports to the Principal and collaborates across departments to maintain a welcoming, compliant, and efficient school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education Administration or related field
- 5+ years of administrative leadership experience, preferably in a school or nonprofit setting
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations, background screening practices, and hospitality/event coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Blackbaud database systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
