Job Summary
Director of Adjustment Counseling (LICSW) to provide clinical leadership for MABVI's Adjustment to Vision Loss Counseling Program, oversee counseling operations and staff, maintain a direct counseling caseload, supervise counselors, support licensure pursuit, develop and implement policies, manage referrals and waitlists, ensure HIPAA/compliance, collaborate on billing, and contribute to outreach, grant reporting, and program evaluation. Fully remote with Massachusetts residency preferred and occasional travel within Massachusetts; role emphasizes leadership, program development, staff supervision, and high-quality person-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- LICSW in Massachusetts or ability to obtain reciprocal Massachusetts licensure
- 5+ years of counseling experience
- Strong leadership, supervision, and team development experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Additional Requirements
- Massachusetts residency preferred
- Occasional in-state travel is required
