Job Summary
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Substance Use Disorder treatment program at Pendleton Correctional Facility. Collaborate with the Statewide Addiction Recovery Leadership Team and communicate with the Indiana Department of Correction regarding SUD operations and treatment program effectiveness. This full-time role includes an 8-hour day shift from Monday to Friday. The position requires a Master's degree in behavioral health, an active Indiana behavioral health license, and at least two years of supervisory experience. Candidates must possess one year of substance abuse treatment experience in a correctional or mental health environment and hold current certifications in First Aid, CPR, BLS, and AED use. A background investigation and agency security clearance are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field
- Current Indiana behavioral health license such as LCAC, LMHC, or LCSW
- Minimum of one (1) year of substance abuse treatment experience in a correctional and/or mental health services environment
- Appropriate and active certification in First Aid, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
- Full Time 8 Hour Day Shift Hours (Monday-Friday)
