Job Summary
Director of Activities responsible for planning and enhancing all resident life enrichment programming and activities. Develops and adheres to a monthly activity calendar; coordinates events for residents, families, and staff; transports and supervises residents on outings; screens, trains, and coordinates volunteers; trains staff to meet performance standards in life-enrichment programming; facilitates resident council meetings and documents resolutions; monitors residents' health and emotional condition; ensures safety, HIPAA compliance, and a positive, respectful environment; demonstrates teamwork and initiative, supports dining services and activities of daily living as needed, and participates in trainings and policy adherence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
