Director of Accounts Receivable

Director of A/R Revenue Cycle responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership over Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Charge Capture functions. Oversees post-billing and pre-claims processes including charge integrity, claim submission, payment posting, denials management, appeals, and recoupments to optimize reimbursement outcomes. Partners with clinical, compliance, and operational teams to ensure accurate coding, timely submissions, and compliant cash realization. Drives automation initiatives (RPA, ERA/EFT) and develops dashboards/KPIs to monitor AR performance, denials, and payer trends. Leads AR strategy to reduce days in AR and improve aging distributions, while ensuring CMS, Medicaid, and commercial payer compliance. Manages billing, AR follow-up, payment posting, denial management, and post-payment audits; mentors managers across AR, Billing, Payment Posting, and Charge Capture teams; supports cross-functional initiatives and special projects in revenue cycle optimization.
