Job Summary
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation process while building and maintaining the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policies that scale with a high-growth, global business. Research and conclude on technical accounting, documenting positions in clear, audit-ready memos to lead the company through its first-year financial statement audit and build toward IPO readiness. Design the controls, systems, and AI-enabled automation that make accounting meaningfully more efficient, partnering closely with FP&A, People, Legal, and the broader business to set the standard for operations as we scale.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 public accounting experience
- high-growth industry roles
- CPA
- deep technical US GAAP expertise
- Proven ownership of the close and consolidation process
- Experience leading external financial statement audits
- Experience in consumer tech, SaaS, or other high-volume revenue environments
- Hands-on experience implementing accounting systems
- Hands-on experience implementing automation
- Hands-on experience implementing internal controls

- A builder's mindset
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%)

Desired Qualifications
