Director of Academics - SY 26-27

Director of Academics at Riverside Academy (ACCEL Schools) oversees instructional staff and data-driven strategies to advance student achievement. Responsibilities include guiding teachers in effective use of materials and differentiation, reviewing weekly lesson plans, performing teacher observations and coaching, modeling instructional practices, delivering targeted professional development, analyzing multiple data sources to inform instruction, supporting intervention programs, collaborating with parents, coordinating special projects (peer mentoring, service learning, community involvement), and performing other duties as assigned. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in education, active teaching certification, and at least five years of classroom experience; a Master’s degree is preferred and experience as an Instructional Coach or similar leadership role is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders, knowledge of state standards and Common Core, data-driven instruction, and strong communication and organizational skills.
