Job Summary
Director of Academic Return on Investment (AROI) & Program Effectiveness leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the district's AROI framework, performs program evaluation and investment analysis across programs, technologies, staffing models, and initiatives, assesses equity impact and outcomes, and provides evidence-based analyses to support district decision-making and fiscal stewardship. The role develops evaluation methodologies, dashboards, and reports; collaborates with district leaders to align investments with student outcomes and priorities; and drives continuous improvement through structured review processes, implementation planning, and dissemination of findings to executive leadership. Requires a master's degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years of data analytics/research/evaluation experience in a school district, with strong ability to analyze data, synthesize research, and communicate findings to diverse audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Research and Evaluation, Data Analytics, Educational Administration, Educational Leadership, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in research, program evaluation, data analytics, strategic planning, organizational improvement, or program management in a school district (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, synthesize research, facilitate collaborative problem-solving, and communicate findings to diverse audiences
- Experience developing evaluation frameworks, implementation plans, performance measures, and continuous improvement processes (preferred)
- Experience supporting organizational decision-making through research, analysis, and strategic planning (preferred)
