Job Summary
Director of Academic Cohorts responsible for strategic leadership, coordination, and assessment of cohort-based academic programs with emphasis on STEM retention and pre-health advising. Oversees RESOLUTE STEM-focused cohorts, coordinates with CAS leadership and STEM faculty, and develops programs to enhance student learning, belonging, retention, and graduation. Manages pre-health advising activities, builds partnerships with health professions programs and external partners, and tracks outcomes related to retention, GPA, and post-graduate placement. Leads the design of cohort models, experiential learning experiences (Core Four, Global Insight Fellows, Hunsaker Scholars), and collaboration with faculty, advising, and student success units. Requires Master’s degree, ability to travel, and availability for evening/weekend hours; strong communication, organizational, data-analysis, and budget-management skills; driving license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Experience working in a higher education setting is preferred
- A valid California Class C CA driver’s license with a good driving record is required
- Travel and evening/weekend hours flexibility required
